Imanis Life Sciences offers a broad and growing menu of products and services to support your reporter gene imaging needs. We also cater to the oncolytic virotherapy research community.
Reporter gene imaging allows you to pinpoint a cell population of interest in the body of a living animal, and to follow the in vivo fate of the cells by periodically repeating the imaging study. Provided the reporter protein is nonimmunogenic, the movement and growth of the cells can be monitored throughout the entire lifetime of the animal.
Applications of reporter gene imaging abound: analysis of cancer cell fate in oncology; stem cell fate in regenerative medicine; inflammation, immunity or fibrosis in transgenic and tissue reconstituted animals; biodistribution and performance of gene therapy vectors; the spread of oncolytic viruses. Imanis supports a variety of bioluminescence and PET/SPECT reporter gene systems, but our major emphasis is on the proprietary NIS reporter gene imaging system. NIS is a nonimmunogenic, nontoxic reporter protein that is compatible with a variety of SPECT and PET imaging instruments and probes, providing the basis of the most versatile, accurate and reliable reporter gene system available today.
In addition to reporter gene imaging our new product line is a menu of oncolytic viruses offering a convenient source of reagents for comparative preclinical studies to compare the performance of your newly created oncolytic virus with established agents from the same or other virus families.
